Efficiency ratings for heating and air conditioning range from 13.0 to 21.5 Seasonal Energy Efficiency Rating (SEER) for air conditioners, and from 80% to 98.5% Annual Fuel Utilization Efficiency (AFUE) for furnaces.

 

Mainstream works closely with our customers to determine the energy efficiency level that is right for them. Then, each area of the home is assigned its own zone depending on usage. For example, the entry, living, and dining areas may be one zone, the kitchen and family areas may be another, and the master suite may be a third. Each zone is controlled by its own thermostat so the homeowner can optimize their energy usage.
